Fireworks Safety
Fireworks are most safely disposed of when using a metal garbage container for soaking in water overnight before placing in a plastic bag or container. Many firework-related fires occur from fireworks that have been thrown away improperly.

Fireworks should be set off away from buildings, trees, and other structures. Make sure someone tracks the firework to ensure it does not spark a fire when it lands.
