[ARCHIVED] West Fargo man arrested following pursuit in West Fargo

At approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019, West Fargo Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of the 600 block of 42nd Avenue W. on a report of a suspicious person.

Officers arrived in the area and identified a vehicle matching the description. After traffic violations were observed, the officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 600 block of 33rd Avenue W. The vehicle fled and a short pursuit ensued.

The vehicle became disabled near Aurora Elementary School. The driver then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The driver, later identified as Daniel William Brennan, a 31-year-old male from Bismarck, North Dakota, fell into a construction area and was taken into custody.

After being treated for injuries he sustained from the fall, Brennan was transported to the Cass County Jail. Brennan’s charges include fleeing in a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, possession of a stolen vehicle, driving under suspension and multiple narcotics charges.
