The West Fargo Public Library is partnering with NDSU Extension/Cass County to provide three health-related women’s programs 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 16, and 23.
During the April 9 event, attendees will learn about skin cancer and sun safety, including providing information on protection from the sun and learning to identify the warning signs of skin cancer on one’s own skin. The April 16 event is titled Finding the Truth—How to Sort Fact from Fiction and will provide guidelines for recognizing factual and fake information provided by various media sources. The final event April 23 looks at Popular Diets: Healthful and Not-So-Healthful, exploring ways to analyze diets to determine which are legitimate and which are fad.
All three programs will be held at the West Fargo Public Library, 109 3rd St. E, West Fargo, Meeting Room 1, and are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
