Sheyenne Street, from Second Avenue W. to Fourth Avenue W., is closed to through traffic until Friday, Nov. 2. This closure is to allow construction crews to complete sewer and water tie-ins for the new Pioneer Place development and patch the road following the utility work. Motorists and commercial trucks in the area can use First Street, which is two blocks to the east, to travel around this area. The closure, originally scheduled through Monday, Oct. 29, was extended due to construction issues with storm sewer tie-ins.
Pioneer Place is phase 2 of the City of West Fargo’s downtown mixed-use development, which began with the building of Sheyenne Plaza and the POW/MIA Plaza. Pioneer Place will including retail and commercial space on the lower floors with 51 residential units on the upper floor.
