At 1:12 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, a West Fargo Police Department officer initiated a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle near Veterans Boulevard and 26th Avenue E. The vehicle fled northbound on Veterans Boulevard and then into the City of Fargo. A Cass County Sheriff's Office deputy and a Fargo Police Department officer successfully deployed spike stripes, which ultimately disabled the vehicle in the 1600 block of 12th Avenue N. in Fargo. 

The driver, 23-year-old Tyler Zimmerman, was arrested without further incident. Zimmerman is being held at the Cass County Jail on charges of fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of stolen vehicle, aggravated reckless endangerment, reckless driving, and driving under suspension. A female passenger was released without charges. 

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
