The West Fargo Public Library is accepting donations of non-perishable food items through the end of November. Donated items will go to local food banks.
The library is also hosting a special “WinsDay Wednesday” event on Nov. 22, which will include other opportunities to support the community. Kicking off the day with Ready to Read Storytime at 10:30 a.m., members of the public are invited to help make blankets to support Project Linus at any time from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Middle school and high school students are invited to the library at 2:30 p.m. that day for a special cookie and card decorating event. Decorated cards will be distributed to local senior living facilities through the library’s delivery service.
“When we give back to the community, everyone wins,” Youth Services Manager Lauren Nephew said.
