[ARCHIVED] West Fargo Fire Department responds to Tuesday afternoon structure fire


At approximately 1:11 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, 2023, the West Fargo Fire Department was dispatched to 5600 9th Street W., Dakota Park, for a structure fire. When crews arrived on scene, smoke was visible from small structure containing public restrooms and park facilities. The active fire was quickly knocked down and contained within minutes of arrival. 

The structure sustained heavy smoke damage and minimal fire damage. The fire remained contained to the public restrooms. The cause of the fire is under investigation with the cost of damages to be determined. There were no injuries to emergency personnel or residents.  

The West Fargo Fire Department was assisted by the West Fargo Police Department and Sanford Ambulance.
