The West Fargo Public Library's Little Red Reading Bus begins it's weekly eight-stop route Monday, June 6.

The Little Red Reading Bus makes library services more accessible to the community by bringing books, yard games, educational activities and crafts out to local parks. All ages are welcome to join the fun at each bus stop, but a West Fargo Library card is required to check out books.

Each stop includes:

  • books to browse, read, and check out
  • games and activities for families to practice important literacy skills
  • new take home activities every week to continue the fun at home
  • free wi-fi access for folks visiting the bus
  • a library experience where people of all ages can pick up holds, sign up for a library card, ask questions, check out items, pick up Summer Boost reading program prizes and learn about library programs and services

Throughout the summer, stops may also include special guest readers and other fun activities, which will be announced via social media and the Little Red Reading Bus website.
