[ARCHIVED] City of West Fargo's 2017 West Fest to begin Sept. 15

2017 West Fest

The 26th annual City of West Fargo West Fest community celebration kicks off Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, and continues through the weekend with a final event Sunday, Sept. 17.

With a theme of “My West Fargo,” this year’s celebration will honor old West Fest classics, such as the Pancake Breakfast, Grand Parade and Family Fun, and introduce new events and locations to energize the community and encourage time together to celebrate the city.

Specifically, most of Saturday’s events will now be located near the Sheyenne Street parade route to encourage residents to stick around and explore all that West Fest has to offer. West Fest is also adding new events this year, like Bed Races for a chance to win a new mattress valued at $1,000, a Street Dance from 6 to 9 p.m. featuring live music from The White Keys, and a NASCAR #88 Simulator sponsored by TCI Insurance and F-M Walleye Unlimited, Inc. Youth Fishing Clinic at Family Fun.
