Artist Chad Kartenson's abstract geometric art is on display at the West Fargo Public Library Feb. 1 - 28, 2022. During this one-hour opening reception and artist talk, Kartenson will speak about his works and answer questions from attendees. 

About the artist

The works on display are the journey filled artworks of Chad Kartenson. These pieces are brought to life with the mediums of pastels, inks, watercolors, acrylics, and more. He has been self-taught throughout his life, and has had conversations with many great artists, which has helped his skills and talents progress. Other artists informed him that being a self taught artist is an excelled way to find one’s signature style. Many of Chad's pieces can be turned upside down or horizontally which then would have them be seen right side up again in a different manner. His works truly have no meaning, but as they are brought to life, they bring the viewers eyes on a dynamic journey throughout the very detailed piece to explore the creator’s imagination.
