The Little Red Reading Bus
About the Little Red Reading Bus
The Little Red Reading Bus delivers the joy of reading to kids across West Fargo and beyond during the summer months. We know that introducing reading to kids, especially at a young age, sets them up for success. We also realize that not all children have books at home or a means to go to the physical library, so we bring the books and library experience directly to them instead!
The Little Red Reading Bus was started in 2018. Thanks to our supporters, in just three short years, the Little Read Reading Bus has evolved from an idea into an outreach program of the West Fargo Public Library.
The Little Red Reading Bus route has ended for the year, however the library is still hosting Little Red Reading Bus events and making appearances at other community events. Check out the lineup below for more information.
Little Red Reading Bus library cards are no longer valid. To check out books from the Little Red Reading Bus, please sign up for a West Fargo Public Library card. Visit our Library Cards webpage or the service desk at the library for more information.
In the summer, the Little Red Reading Bus followed a weekly bus route schedule from June into August. Check out our 2021 Little Red Reading Bus Route flyer (below) to see where we visited this summer.
