Ask A Genealogist

The West Fargo Public Library's Ask a Genealogist program takes place every second Saturday of the month from 1 - 4 pm. Jackie Marler, our program assistant and staff genealogist, is available to answer questions about genealogy, assist in your research, provide resources and share tips and tricks for genealogy. 

Make an appointment for one-on-one genealogy assistance. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.

Technology Coaching

Beginning October 2021, the West Fargo Public Library is offering technology coaching by 30-minute appointment on:

  • Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon
  • Wednesdays from 2 to 5 p.m. 
  • Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. 

Our volunteer technology tutors are available to assist with topics such as: basic computer, tablet, eReader or smartphone skills; basic internet and browser skills; setting up email or social media accounts; learning how to use apps and websites; and streaming and downloading digital media like ebooks, audiobooks and magazines.

Make an appointment for technology tutoring. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.
